Assistant Superintendent/Foreman: Location is in Rock Hill, SC
Responsibilities
•Carpenter skills are a must!
•Bi-lingual is a plus!
•Enforce company safety plans and required safety regulations
• Assist with toolbox topics, orientations, safety documentation and safety inspections
• Assist with managing the general requirements of the project on site
• Review and understand contract documents
• Assist with staging of materials and conformance of the logistics plan
• Manage building and site security measures
• Maintain as built and record set of documents
• Confirm layout of installations
• Assist superintendent with project reporting per standard operating procedures and best practices
• Assist with providing and maintaining all site documentation on site (daily logs, site records, pics, manpower, material usage, regulatory records, field tickets, etc.)
• Assist with implementing and enforcing the company’s QAQC plan on site
• Field verify that all project quality standards are met
• Assist with pre-installation meetings
• Provide daily and periodic installation inspections and documentation of work in place
• Oversee the installation and maintenance all requirements for company branding on site
• Assist with planning and coordination on site for all field activities
• Conduct field meetings with all trade partners as requested
• Assist with managing company personnel on site
• Oversee clean up requirements and manage documentation
• Assist with managing company purchased or leased tools and equipment on site
• Verify completion of work in place prior to all required project inspections
• Enforces company rules and policies on site
• Assist with compliance and verification of all project related regulatory requirements
• Understand, utilize, and maintain data entered in project management software
• Assist with completing all substantial completion, final completion and related close out requirements for the project
• Assist with training and development of interns and field engineers
• Complete other items assigned by superintendent to facilitate project success
Basic requirements
• BS Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Related Field
• 5+ Years’ Experience
• OSHA 30
• NPDES Level 1A Blue Card Certification • First AID/CPR

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather and risk of electric shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to very loud.
